Will an update make you want to go Home?

Well it seems like Sony’s favorite marketing tool, Home, will be receiving an update today. The real question is, are these home spaces made for the PS3 owners, or are they made to attract gamers to Home in order to make more money with micro transactions. Most of the more hardcore PS3 owners that I have talked to think that Home is a gimmick, and that it doesn’t do anything for them. I have to admit, I only log onto Home to see if I earned any free items from beating games or earning trophies. I guess the thought of buying virtual apartments and clothing doesn’t appeal to the whole spectrum of gamers. We will see if these updates will restore people’s faith in Home. More on the update after the break.

-SOCOM Tactical Operations Center Space

-Ghostbusters Firehouse space available

-EA is releasing new racetracks, leaderboards, Racing Boost Shop, and Poker updates

-Cole costume for those who completed the inFAMOUS demo
