Brüno Movie Review

Prior to the movie, all I’ve heard was terrible things about this movie. So, I checked it out. I wouldn’t say that it’s terrible. The movie is very funny, disgusting, disturbing, and extremely offensive. I had many laughs during the movie, but toward the end, it kind of got old or I just got tired of all the gay jokes. Homosexual comedy can only last so long, even if Bruno takes it to the extreme. It’s funny to see the reactions of the people in the movie, from everyday people to presidential candidate Ron Paul. It’s pretty much Sacha Baron Cohen offending as many people as he could. The structure of the film was pretty much the same as Borat: a foreigner coming to America and offending people.

If you like gay jokes, offensive material, and liked Borat, then go see this movie. If you don’t, then this is most definitely not the movie for you.
